Das Multiple Trumpumpowerpump ist eine satirische Auseinandersetzung mit der enormen politischen und wirtschaftlichen Macht, die ein gewisser US-Präsident ausübt. Das Objekt greift – aus Sicht vieler Kritiker*innen – den Umgang mit Demokratie, Menschenrechten und globaler Einflussnahme ironisch auf. Die Arbeit nutzt die Form einer scheinbaren Produktverpackung für eine Penispumpe: Am Pumpkolben führt eine „erektive Skala“ jene Begehrlichkeiten auf, die Trump in der öffentlichen Wahrnehmung häufig zugeschrieben werden. Die Verpackung selbst jedoch ist leer: nichts als heiße Luft, ein spielerischer Kommentar auf die „Fakes“, die Trump so oft anderen vorwirft.

The multiple Trumpumpowerpump is a satirical examination of the enormous political and economic power wielded by a certain US president. From the perspective of many critics, the object ironically addresses the handling of democracy, human rights, and global influence. The work uses the form of what appears to be product packaging for a penis pump: on the pump piston, an “erectile scale” lists the desires that are often attributed to Trump in the public perception. The packaging itself, however, is empty: nothing but hot air, a playful commentary on the “fakes” that Trump so often accuses others of.
